How to Install

Before doing anything make sure you have downloaded a back up copy of your current blog template in case anything goes wrong. You can do this by logging into blogger going to Dashboard > Design > Edit HTML > Download Full Template

Step 1 : Login into Blogger

Step 2: Go To Dashboard > Design > Edit HTML

Step 3: Upload the Template XML file

Step 4 : Preview Blog and If Everything Looks Good Hit Save



How To Add Your Logo or Text To The Header

Step 1: Add your logo or text to the blank header provided in the download files (If you don't have an image editing software you can do this for free online at http://www.picnik.com/ )

TIP: You Must Save Your Header as a PNG file and you must keep it the same dimensions.

Step 2: Upload The Header to your photobucket (www.photobucket.com) account

Step 3: Copy the direct link (image url) to your header

Step 4: Login to blogger

Step 5: Go to Dashboard > Design > Edit HTML

Step 6: Hit Command+F and Search for the code below (It is located at the top of the template file)

Step 7: Replace The Code Below

background: url(http://i1179.photobucket.com/albums/x390/ritzydesignstudio/Chic_Mommy/header.png) no-repeat top center;

With This Code

background: url(http://yourimageurlhere.png) no-repeat top center;
